Personal Info: I was born and raised in Lake Charles, LA. I have a college BA in Visual Arts, concentrating in Graphic Design, or Commercial Art (Advertising).

Hobby Info: My first word (or one of them), was horsey! I can remember my Dad giving me horsey-back rides down our hallway to my bedroom, then tucking me in at night by telling me horse stories (usually Roy Rogers and Trigger). I was given my first model when I was one, around 1967. It was the Black and White Pinto Western Pony. I still have her, and today she stands proudly in the China cabinet with all of the China horses! I collected strongly until High School, when boys were more important. I did ride my bike to the nearby toy store, and sneak a few models during that time, though. I got back into the hobby while in college, got a subscription to JAH, and jumped in with both feet! My collection has grown to around 500 now. My most prized models are a mint Seal Brown Balking Mule, a near mint Buckskin Indian Pony with war paint, and a really cool Western Horse lamp that Greg bought for me for my birthday one year!

Tack Info: I went to my first live show in June of 1994. It was the Lone Star Live show in Texas, held by Chris Foote. Because I had entered as a novice, all my tack had to be made by myself. Now, I had made my first Western saddle way back in 1983 totally from scratch - yuck! Then I had made some pretty good ones in the past few years using Rio Rondo kits. But, for this show I outdid myself, and to my surprise created some very original LSQ saddles. I did very well in that show, and several people asked about my saddles. So, with my husband's persuasion, the tack-making division of Green Hound Studio was born!

Sometimes I'd rather trade tack for models, so send me your lists! This is how I build up my collection, plus it saves you money! I will accept personal checks, but money orders are preferred. Payment in part cash, part models is okay, too! I can also work out a time payment schedule with you if you wish. I will not be responsible for cash lost in the mail. I will not give refunds on orders done in trade or partial trade. I will only refund if you notify me within five days of the day I mail your order. Postage on all orders, except halters and bridles, is $4.00. This is for first class plus handling. A large, double stamped SASE is required for halters/bridles only.

	Saddle Set - Basketweave saddle and bosal hackamore bridle with blue trim.

	Mahogany Basketweave Saddle with off white seat - This is my personal show saddle, and is not for sale, however, I can, and have duplicated it. It has full basketweave tooling, and full silver lacing. It has front and rear silver corner plates, a silver horn cap, and a silver cantle plate. A special feature on this saddle is C.E. Stirrups (especially made by my good friend, and leather working "genius", Candy Evans). They are done in oxbow style, and she stiches them together on the sides. She will let me offer this feature to my customers, but she can't garantee how long she'll take.
	Buckskin Saddle - This Trad saddle is dyed a rich buckskin color, with a light brown suede seat. It is tooled in Basket weave, with vines, leaves, and flowers. It is double rigged, with a front string cinch. It has special ordered C.E. Stirrups, silver corner plates, silver edge lacing, and a silver horn cap. There are silver flower conchos on this saddle. It comes complete with a matching breast collar with silver plates and conchos, and a Navajo blanket with fringe. This saddle is great for working, or show.
	Round-Skirt Arab Saddle - This is my personal show saddle, but I have reproduced it several times! It looks great on Minuet, The Armana Arab Stallion, or even Breyer's PAS, or PAM! This one is saddle tan with a black seat, and features my original hand carved design! No tooling on this one! It has silver lace, a silver horn cap, and conchos. A matching breast collar is also included!
	Arabian Show Saddle - Pecan finish with basketweave pattern. Sold to Gudrun Schmidt of Germany. Can duplicate.
	Four Colored Saddle - This saddle, in Trad size, has a rawhide pommel and cantle, with mahogany trim, and horn, and a mahogany skirt, with buckskin side jockeys. It has natural color fenders. It has C.E. Stirrups in natural rawhide, with Mahogany liners. There is silver edge lacing on the cantle, silver billet liners, silver conchos with latigo strings, and a silver horn cap on this saddle. It is double rigged with a front string cinch. The coolest feature on this saddle is the breast collar. It is done in two tone wooden beads! Set includes a Navajo blanket. For sale: $98.00 ppd.
	NAMHSA 1996 Auction Saddle
	Black Show Saddle - this Trad saddle is black with a black sued seat. It has oxbow stirrups in black, and is tooled in the vines, leaves, and flowers design. It has a silver horn, silver cantle lacing, silver corner plates, and silver flower conchos. This saddle is single rigged, and includes a blue and green plaid blanket. Special feature on this saddle is the matching breastcollar. It is done in double row silver beads, and black beads, with silver conchos on the ends. This is a stunning set!
	Fancy Black Show Bridle - matches above saddle. This black bridle has a split ear piece, done in gorgeous double row silver beads, with black beads, and silver conchos. It has a large silver bit, with silver buckles and end tips. It has split, rolled leather reins!
	Wooden Bead Browband Bridle - This dark brown bridle has a wooden beaded browband, with silver acents. It has a photo etched bit, and buckles, with split laced reinds with chain. It matches the four-colored saddle shown above.
	Mahogany Bridle - This is a gorgeous bridle with silver cheek plates, and a large fancy silver concho bit. It has a browband with silver plate, and silver conchos. This bridle has split, rolled leather reins, and matches the four-colored saddle shown above.
	NAMHSA Auction Beaded Bridle and Breast Collar Set - was made to match above saddle. This bridle is beaded in double row silver beads and wooden beads, on cheeks and browband. It has a silver half-heart bit, and split braided reins.

	Indian Women's Costume - This gorgeous costume is made with a RDLC indian tree, and stirrups. It has light green, brown, and off white draperies, and fringe. It has a "deer" skin seat! Gorgeous and unique costume!
	Pack Saddle Set

	Basset Hound Mailbox - owned by Green Hound Studio. I can do just about any mailbox you can imagine. Some interesting ones include a prairie dog, lion, tractor, and Basenji! Mailboxes are available now (see below). These all have flags and greenery/flowers on base. Come in small and large sizes. Large is for Trad, small can really be used for Trad and Classic.
